Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

• On this website's forms: name, email, phone number and, when you ask for a proposal, details of the property.
• For bookings: identification and contact details, dates, number of guests and requests you send us.
• For guests who are not Portuguese citizens: the identity document details that the law requires us to report to the authorities.
• Payment details, processed directly by the payment platform. We never see or store your card details.
• Technical data: IP address, device and cookies.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your requests and prepare proposals (steps prior to a contract).
• To manage your booking and your stay (performance of the contract).
• To meet our legal obligations: reporting foreign guests to the authorities, invoicing and the municipal tourist tax (legal obligation).
• To send you news and offers, only if you agree (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To keep the website working and secure, and to measure how it is used (legitimate interest, and consent for non-essential cookies).

Who we share it with

• Brevo, which hosts this website's forms and sends our emails, with the data stored in the European Union.
• The booking and property management system we use, which hosts the booking website.
• The payment platform.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it, such as the police (for foreign guest registration) and the tax authority.

Outside the European Union

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, always with the safeguards required by the GDPR. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for our business records. Booking data is kept for as long as needed and for the periods required by law (for example, tax documents are kept for 10 years). Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it, which you can do in one click at the bottom of any email we send you.
